Perched on the rocky coast just south of Portland, the Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse—often called "Two Lights"—has guided mariners since 1828. Though only one of the original twin lights remains active today, it stands as one of Maine’s most iconic and photographed lighthouses. Its rugged setting against the Atlantic and long history of protecting sailors make it a lasting symbol of New England’s maritime heritage.
