A Wonderful Start to the Exhibition
A Wonderful Start to the Exhibition
It’s hard to believe the exhibition has already been up for a little while now, and I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on how rewarding the experience has been so far.
One of the most enjoyable parts has been simply talking with everyone who has stopped by. Whether you came specifically to see the work or just happened to be passing through the space, the conversations have been great. Hearing what people connect with in the photographs, the memories certain scenes bring back, and the stories people share about these familiar Long Island places has made the whole experience even more meaningful.
I’m also incredibly grateful for the support the exhibit has received. Several pieces have already found new homes, which is always exciting as a photographer. Knowing that these images will continue to be enjoyed outside the gallery space is one of the most rewarding parts of sharing the work.
If you haven’t had a chance to stop by yet, there’s still time. The exhibition will remain on display through the end of the month. It’s been wonderful seeing people discover the work little by little as they come through the library.
There will also be a reception coming up soon, which I’m really looking forward to. It will be a chance to meet, talk about the images, and spend some time with everyone who has supported the exhibit. If you’re planning to attend, please feel free to say hello—I always enjoy meeting people and hearing which photographs resonate with them.
Thank you again to everyone who has visited so far and to those who have supported the work. I truly appreciate it.
I hope you get a chance to stop by before the exhibition closes at the end of the month.
